About our crew:

Many of the people at Studio 8 Ten have “graduated” from our other locations that do a lot of crafting and have become excellent in the art of sewing, papermaking, design, and all aspects of the crafts our company produces. In addition Studio 8 Ten looks for people who enjoy working with the public, giving tours, sales and special events.

Happy Good Friday to all our TSI families and friends! We hope you aren't too bored and are finding things to do during this time of social distancing. To end the week on a fun note, we'd like to invite everyone to share a picture or a caption of something you are doing at home to stay busy! Today, we are featuring our favorite twin ladies, Cassie and CeCe, who are working hard from home. Cassie is working on an article about her experience having to stay home, and CeCe is working on another great new embroidery piece! What are YOU doing?

As the dust is starting to settle from the week’s developments and we finally have time to breathe, we would like to take a moment to share a few updates with everyone. We would first like to extend a HUGE thank you to our community residential providers, including Danville Services, Holdsworth Inc, and
KNR Assisted Living Services, for partnering with TSI to ensure that our individuals continue to receive the support services they need while our doors are shut, and to keep our staff working! We are also grateful to officials with Aging and Disability Services - State of Nevada - Lifespan NV and Desert Regional Center for mobilizing quickly to enact procedures that have made this possible.

We may be forced to weather this storm by distancing ourselves from each other physically, but by banding together and supporting each other in other ways, we will see this through together.

Again, stay strong, safe, healthy and hopeful!

Transition Services, Inc.

It is with a heavy heart that we are closing our doors for the next month, in accordance with the State mandate to suspend all non-essential business operations. The health, safety, and general well-being of our amazing staff, individuals, and community must come first. We are working tirelessly to ensure that the care needs of our individuals are being met. As per the Governor’s statements last night, we will remain closed for 30 days, at which point we will wait to hear from officials what the next course of action will be. We remain hopeful that we will be able to re-open at that time.

The necessity to socially distance ourselves from one another over the next month will not be easy. So please don’t be a stranger. Feel free to use our Facebook page as a means to keep in touch. We will do our best to keep our TSI family informed and up to date if/as developments occur.

Stay strong, safe, healthy, and hopeful!
